Cleveland State University is considering hiring the Cavaliers Operating Co. to manage the Bert L. & Iris S. Wolstein Center.
The university's nine-year contract with arena management company SMG expires Oct. 31. Cleveland State put the management contract out to bid earlier this year and received responses from SMG and the Cavaliers Operating Co., which manages Quicken Loans Arena.
SMG proposed a base fee of $100,000, while the Cavaliers Operating Co. proposed a base fee of $200,000, according to documents presented at Cleveland State's Financial Affairs, Audit and Facilities ...
