Los Angeles-based Transom Capital has thrown itself into the mix of private equity investors that are beginning to show interest in transactions that were recently considered nontraditional acquisitions. The firm acquired Cinder Block, Inc., a production and distribution that partners with punk rock musicians to sell concert tee-shirts and promotional items. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
