Bellevue Builders Supply name will be revived
ROTTERDAM -- A private equity investment firm has teamed with the general manager of Stock Building Supply's upstate New York operations to purchase and continue operating the building materials dealer. The operation, to be purchased by Building Industry Partners LLC, in partnership with Greg Gaskell, Stock's local general manager, will revert to its former name, Bellevue Builders Supply. Bellevue was founded in 1937 and acquired by Stock in 2004.
Gaskell, who will have the title of president when the deal is completed, said that the sale is expected to close sometime before Sept. 30. Terms of the acquisition ...
