Junction City councilors OK construction deal with state

JUNCTION CITY - After close to two years of discussion and planning, the City Council unanimously approved a $35 million construction agreement with the state to begin development of a new state hospital and prison.

That work is expected to be divided into five construction bids and include more than 175 jobs, some of which will begin as soon as September.
