DEFIANT Thomas Cook workers narrowly avoided jail yesterday after they agreed to a High Court Order to end their sit-in.
The protesters, who are locked in a bitter row with the travel giant over redundancy terms, were told they had to be out of the office by 7pm on Monday night or face prison.
But they stood their ground and at 5am yesterday up to 15 gardai broke down the door of the premises and arrested all inside - including a heavily pregnant woman.
