(ADPnews) - Aug 4, 2009 - Waha Maritime, part of Abu Dhabi-based Waha Capital (ABD:WAHA), said yesterday it has received its first two anchor handling tug (AHT) vessels.
The first ship, Waha I, is a 48-metre-long vessel powered by two Caterpillar engines of up to 5,150 brake horsepower (BHP). The second one, Waha II, is a 38-metre-long twin screw with a 5,000 BHP Niigata engine.
The vessels were purchased by Waha Offshore Marine Services, Waha Maritime's offshore support vessel owning and operating arm.
