National Grid (NG.L) is assessing a fourth phase of expansion at its Isle of Grain liquefied natural gas terminal in south-east England, the company said in a statement on Monday.
"Our investment in the existing three phases is near 1 billion pounds ($1.67 billion) and if there is market appetite for more capacity then we'll look to invest further and develop Grain phase 4," National Grid director Peter Boreham said.
Interested parties have until Sept 1 to bid for the right to berth tankers of super-cooled liquid gas and unload the cargo into temporary storage before regasification and delivery into UK gas system, National Grid ...
