Interstate launches LFG project in Pa.
Interstate Waste Services is launching a landfill gas-to-energy project at its Cumberland County landfill in Pennsylvania that will create enough energy to power about 4,800 homes.
The Shippensburg area landfill is working with PPL Renewable Energy and Adams Electric Cooperative on the project.
