ABSTRACT
College algebra is a course that many students have difficulty with. It is a course that usually taken to satisfy the requirement in the core area of a degree program. Universities across the country are in constant search for new ways to deliver college algebra and in the process improve the success rate as well as the retention rate.
At Valdosta State University, we decided to compare the morning classes versus the evening classes. We believe that in the early hours of the day the students are more receptive to the material than in the evening hours of the day.
