August 7, 2009 (FinancialWire) -- Pawnshop operator EZCorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: EZPW) has hired Paul Rothamel as to the newly-created position of executive vice president and chief operating officer. He was formerly the president and CEO of Pamida, a chain of around 200 general merchandise and pharmacy stores located in the Midwest.
