YORK, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 22, 1998--DENTSPLY International Inc. (NASDAQ: XRAY) Wednesday announced that it has filed suit in U.S. District Court in the Middle District of Pennsylvania against Moyco Technologies Inc. of Montgomeryville, Pa. for patent infringement.
DENTSPLY maintains that Moyco has willfully and deliberately infringed U.S. Patent 5,628,674 in its manufacture and sale of endodontic instruments marketed under various trade names. The suit seeks a permanent injunction, damages, including lost profits and treble damages, and restitution for court costs and legal fees.
