EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., April 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Cambrex Corporation (NYSE: CBM), today announced that it will begin construction of a new niacinamide (Vitamin B3) plant at its Nepera, Inc. subsidiary in Harriman, New York. While the new plant will have approximately the same capacity as the existing facility, process improvements and automation will result in significantly lower operating/product costs. Nepera will also upgrade its distillation facilities to produce a higher purity cyanopyridine feedstock for the Vitamin B3 plant.
