Romanian state-owned hydro power firm Hidroelectrica will complete construction of a hydro-power plant on the Jiu River in 2012 at an estimated cost of 200 million Euros.
The new hydro-power plant will function without a barrier lake, unlike the country s other plants built before 1989.
The new complex will comprise two plants in the same area, each of which will have three units.
