Construction crews at the College of Marin worked on several projects at the Kentfield and Indian Valley campuses this summer that will offer alternative sources of energy and reduce the school's energy-related costs.
The work is part of the school's commitment to green energy principles, and will involve installing solar panels and energy-efficient heaters and air conditioning systems in existing buildings as well as in two new facilities.
The projects are being paid for by Measure C, a 2004 bond approved by Marin County voters that allocated $249.5 million for upgrades and retrofits at the college. In a resolution passed in ...
