SPOKANE, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 28, 1998--Minera Teck (TEK.B listed on the Vancouver, Montreal, and Toronto exchanges) recently completed the first phase of drilling at the Mocha porphyry copper prospect in Region I Chile, under an agreement with Minera Compania Royal Silver Limitada, a wholly owned subsidiary of Royal Silver Mines Inc. (OTC BB:RSMI) (RSMI).
Previous drilling at Mocha has outlined a near surface resource of 250 million tons of 0.4-0.6%+ copper as a mixture of primary and secondary sulfides as well as copper oxides.
