Apr. 28--The Miami Herald Publishing Co. said Monday it will begin selling home-delivered subscriptions to its Spanish-language newspaper, El Nuevo Herald, in Miami-Dade County. Previously, El Nuevo Herald was delivered only to people who also subscribed to the English-language Herald.
"The readers and the market have asked for this," said Alberto Ibargen, El Nuevo Herald's publisher. "Through trials made in nine postal zones, we determined that there is a demand" for independent subscriptions, he said.
The paper will be available in joint subscriptions with The Herald, at a cost of $3.55 a week. Separately, El Nuevo ...
