NEW DELHI, Aug 10 Asia Pulse - India's Steel Ministry will take up with the Cabinet this month the proposal to divest government's equity in Manganese Ore India Ltd (MOIL) and National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) (BSE: 526371).
"We have identified two steel PSUs for disinvestment. We will be going to the Cabinet within this month," Steel Minister Virbhadra Singh told reporters here on the sidelines of a function here.
The ministry is looking to raise about Rs 15,000 crore (US$3.1 billion) from the selling its stake in steel public sector units (PSUs), he said.
