Aug 10, 2009 (The West Australian - ABIX via COMTEX) -- The virtual drought of new initial public offerings in Australia during the first half of 2009 appears set to end. Among the companies at the forefront of the trend to new floats, rather than just the share issues that have already become very numerous again, are small mining and exploration groups in Western Australia. These include Triton Gold, Mungana Goldmines and Sino Gas & Energy. Meanwhile Zambezi Resources has secured funding from LinQ Resources, and Iron Mountain is launching a takeover offer for Aluminex Resources.
