BURLINGTON, ONTARIO, Aug 12, 2009 (Marketwire via COMTEX) -- AIC Limited today announced that it will continue to sub-advise a number of its flagship equity funds, following regulatory and security holder approval of its agreement with Manulife in which Manulife will acquire AIC's Canadian retail investment fund business.
Upon completion of the agreement, expected to close by September 25, 2009, Manulife Mutual Funds would manage all AIC Funds in Canada, however AIC Investment Services Inc. will remain as sub-advisor to the following funds:
- AIC Advantage Fund
- AIC Advantage Fund II
- AIC American Advantage Fund
