Article: Implants blamed in baby's illness. (defective silicone breast implant)

NORFOLK, England - In one of the first cases of its kind, U.K. attorneys are considering suing silicone breast implant makers on behalf of a baby alleged to have become ill from breast-feeding.

Although the case was granted government-funded legal aid, it is not yet known whether a lawsuit will be filed. If the case goes to court, U.S. and U.K. lawyers are expected to follow the suit closely.

Lawyers representing the plaintiff, an 18-month-old baby, declined to be identified and would not comment on the case.
