The overall Latin American IT industry is not expected to return to 2008 sales levels until 2010, but investments in software will continue growing, although at lower rates, as business intelligence, enterprise applications, and IT for servers and storage - including virtualization - remain top priorities for regional CIOs, Gartner Latin American executive programs VP Ione de Almeida Coco told BNamericas.
