WASHINGTON
A new, high-security courthouse in Newport News could be the site of terrorism trials for some Guantanamo Bay inmates, including the self-proclaimed mastermind of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, if the Obama administration sends cases into the federal courts, law enforcement sources said .
The federal courthouse in downtown Norfolk is also under consideration, along with courthouses in Richmond and Alexandria.
