HOUSTON -- Jack Walters Foster, a retailer, designer, manufacturing executive and sales representative who worked in the industry for more than 40 years, has died. He was 81.
Foster started in the industry as the owner and operator of Interiors Inc., a furniture retailer and interior design firm in Houston, for 10 years. During that time he served as president of the Retail Furniture Assn. and was the first president of the Houston chapter of the National Society of Interior Designers.
