SILICON VALLEY, Calif., Aug. 13 (AScribe Newswire) -- On August 6, 2009 an article was published in the ScienceDaily entitled, "Dark Energy From The Ground Up: Make Way For BigBOSS." The article describes a planned ground-based $71 million telescope-spectrograph system to be developed under the sponsorship of the U.S. Department of Energy. It should be capable of analyzing the mysterious dark energy responsible for the accelerating expansion of the universe, first detected in 1998, and the post-big bang inflationary epoch of the very rapid expansion of the universe, called Cosmic Inflation.
