During my days in Ahmedabad, I was fascinated by the old city. Its unique beauty lies not just in the historic monuments but in the lives of the people there. To give visitors a peek into this hidden world, the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation along with the Foundation for Conservation and Research of Urban Traditional Architecture (CRUTA) organizes a Heritage Walk that weaves through the oldest part of the city, and is a must on the itinerary of every tourist as well as for all Ahmedabad residents.
