Cebu – The Manila Water Company Inc., an Ayala Corporation-led public utility company, has submitted an unsolicited proposal for a joint investment with the Provincial Government of Cebu for the delivery of treated bulk water to the entire province.Under the proposal, termed as the Cebu Bulk Water Supply Project (CBWSP), Manila Water will supply 35 million liters potable bulk water per day sourced from the Luyang River in the Municipality of Carmen, north of Cebu.“The proposal is aimed at meeting the growing water supply requirements of several cities and municipalities in Cebu Province, namely, Danao, Compostela, Liloan, Consolacion, Mandaue, Lapu-lapu and ...
