Desmond does DC
Archbishop Desmond Tutu , the South African cleric and activist who was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1984, added another accolade to his collection when President Obama presented him with the Presidential Medal of Freedom for his longtime humanitarian work yesterday.
Not one to rest on his laurels, Mr. Tutu did not miss the chance to spread good will while he was in town for the ceremony.
