BamPly[R] is now a registered trademark of Pacific Western Wood, Inc. BamPly[R] bamboo panels are imported directly from mills in China by PWW. Bamboo plywood is made from a sustainable resource and qualifies for a number of LEED[R](Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) credits. Bamboo is actually a grass, and is easily manufactured into lumber or plywood. It's a rapidly renewable resource and regrows much faster than hardwood trees. Some bamboo species grow 3 feet in one day, but five to six-year-old Moso bamboo plants are considered mature and best for making high-quality bamboo plywood.
