OXFORD - When one local man started digging in his front yard, he uncovered buried treasure in the form of a 19th-century mill foundation and sluiceway.
Glenn E. Krevosky, owner of EBT Environmental Consultants Inc. of Oxford, owns 18.5 acres along the French River at 601 Main St. His property includes two old mill sites.
Last month, about a dozen members of the Oxford Historical Commission toured the property, which is slowly and carefully being excavated and partially restored by Mr. Krevosky.
