Checkerboard is growing fast
WEST BOYLSTON - Checkerboard Ltd., a privately held designer and printer of high-end stationery, has been ranked No. 4,437 on the Inc. magazine annual ranking of the 5,000 fastest-growing companies in America.
Checkerboard posted 2008 revenues of $15 million, up nearly 34 percent over 2005, Inc. reported. Checkerboard said in a news release it has increased sales by 75 percent and profits by 226 percent over the last five years.
The Inc. report marks the second consecutive year that Checkerboard has made the list of the 5,000 fastest growing companies.
