Signal International LLC is entering the deck-barge market with the construction of a 300'x100' ocean deck barge for Signet Maritime Corp., Houston. The barge will be built at Signal's Orange, Texas, shipyard, with delivery scheduled for the first quarter. In line with Signal's marketing plan, large deck barges will be a continued product line for the Orange shipyard, with multiple designs currently being offered.
