Indonesian holding company PT Armadian Tritunggal plans an initial public offering by the end of this year to raise funds for the planned coal production expansion of its unit, Armadian Director Handy Soetedjo said Thursday.

Separately, a person familiar with the deal said Armadian plans to sell a stake of at least 30% in the IPO.

Soetedjo told Dow Jones Newswires that Armadian aims to increase the production of its unit - PT Berau Coal - to about 20 million metric tons next year from around 15 million tons this year.
