Polish mobile operator Polkomtel SA's second-quarter net profit totaled PLN378.9 million, down 9.1% from a year earlier due to the domestic regulator-imposed erosion of mobile termination rates, the company said Thursday.
Polkomtel's total revenue was at PLN2.04 billion in the second quarter, down 2.6%.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, or Ebitda, totaled PLN814.2 million in the second quarter, down 5.8% from a year earlier.
At the end of June, Polkomtel had 6.702 million higher-paying contractual users, up 9% on year, thanks to the introduction of new promotional offers. The company also ...
