A KILLER has been rewarded with a week's holiday from prison - less than three years after he beat a disabled grandfather to death with his bare hands.
John Lindsay was seen shopping for sports clothes and jewellery with his girlfriend and child after he was let out for a week for being a 'model prisoner'.
Until a move to Castle Huntly open prison last month, 26-year-old Lindsay was serving a minimum of eight years in Saughton Prison, Edinburgh, for killing 62-year-old Neil Duffy.
But Lindsay was given a week's holiday from the open prison earlier this week as a reward for good behaviour, leaving Mr Duffy's family ...
