HAYWARD, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 15, 1998--American Champion Entertainment, Inc. (Nasdaq:ACEI) today reported financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 1998, and announced the first commercial sponsor for its "Adventures with Kanga Roddy" children's PBS television series.
For the first quarter, revenues rose 37 percent to $381,998, from $278,188 for the comparable quarter last year, reflecting the first production revenues associated with production of the initial 13 "Kanga Roddy" episodes. The net loss for the quarter amounted to $134,890, or $.04 per diluted share, on 52 percent more weighted shares outstanding, compared with a net loss ...
