Decorated war hero. Minor League baseball player. Jazz musician. Dick Jacobson has worn many intriguing hats during his lifetime, but perhaps none has fit him as comfortably as his 50-year role in the footwear business. Following stints at Boston Boot and Shoe Club and Nina Footwear, Jacobson was elected the Fashion Footwear Association of New York's first president in 1979.
