ENGLEWOOD, Colo., May 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Viking County Mutual, a Guaranty National company, has lowered rates in Texas an average of four percent on its full coverage one- and six-month automobile insurance products, known as Legacy and Summit. The Company also removed the Previously Uninsured Surcharge on its minimum coverage one- and six-month products, known as Shield and Mesa. This will make it easier for customers without prior insurance to obtain coverage.
The rate change, which will be effective May 18 on all new business, and June 1 on renewal business, is the third rate decrease by the Company since 1995, when the Texas legislature passed a tort ...
