Uganda and Kenya are planning to apply for a $5 million loan from the World Bank for upgrading of Malaba border post.
We are to present a joint request to the World Bank for a loan of $5 million to upgrade Malaba border post, said Syda Bbumba, Uganda's Minister of Finance, Planning and Economic Development.
This will help the revenue authorities of the two countries to use modern technology and result into effective and increased revenue collection, she said.
