It is one of Broadway's most-honored musicals. It won nine Tonys and a Pulitzer Prize, spending 15 years on the New York stage in its original incarnation.
But "A Chorus Line" is particularly appropriate as an attraction for Auburn's Merry-Go-Round Playhouse since one of its original cast, the late Thommie Walsh, came from the city and had directed for MGR. Walsh created the role of Bobby.
The story is simple. A group of dancers is auditioning for a new musical. After being narrowed down, the remaining ensemble reveals their personal stories.
