LONDON -- Space NK Apothecary is looking for some extra breathing room.
Over the past four years, Space NK has become one of the hottest beauty outlets in town by focusing on smaller, less-known brands in skin care, treatment, hair care and color cosmetics. It's now on an expansion drive as a result of new investment, with the goal of doubling the number of its stores over the next six months to 12 and growing its fledgling mail-order business.
Nicki Kinnaird, the chain's founder, said there could be up to 30 Space NK stores in the U.K. alone within the next few years. She's even considering taking up one of the numerous offers she's had to take the store ...
