A LOAN shark who exploited customers by charging annual percentage rates of up to 149,000% is back behind bars.
Patrick Timothy Kiely, 27, breached the terms of his probation just three months after being released from prison.
He was arrested on suspicion of consumer credit offences in a joint sting between police and the North West Illegal Money Lending Unit, last Friday.
Kiely, formerly of Toronnen, Bangor, had been convicted of illegal lending and sentenced to two years imprisonment in September 2008. He was released on license on May 11 this year.
