FOTHERGILL, KENNETH, died on Jan. 23, 2009, in Hamilton, Ont., in his 85th year. Ken was an elder emeritus of the Church of St. John and St. Andrew, Hamilton, after having served more than 50 years as an active elder. He is survived by his wife Madeline of 59 years; as well as six children and 11 grandchildren. Ken was an ardent walker. In his 63 years as a member of St. John, Hamilton, and later as a member of the Church of St. John and St. Andrew, Ken served on the board of managers, sang in the choir, taught Sunday school and actively participated in Presbyterian Men.
