Warren H. Jackson of North Reading, founder of Jackson Industries Inc. of Malden and former president and publisher of the Malden Evening News-Daily News Mercury, died Monday morning at his home surrounded by his family. He was 80.
Born and raised in Jamaica Plain, Mr. Jackson graduated from Lawrence Academy High School in Groton. He attended Boston University where he graduated from the Public Relations and Communications School and later Northeastern University with a degree in engineering. He received an honorary doctorate degree in humanities from the New England School of Law.
Mr. Jackson served in the Army from 1952 to 1954 during the Korean War. ...
