MANILA, Aug. 13 (PNA)--President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo will welcome Thailand's Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva on Friday afternoon at Malacanang, when the Thai leader makes a one-day familiarization tour as well as cheer with the Philippines on the auspicious 60th year of their diplomatic relations.
In an announcement this afternoon, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said that the courtesies between the two leaders will be followed by an "expanded bilateral meeting."
DFA describes the "relations with Thailand (as) among the oldest and most fruitful in Philippine bilateral relations."
