China Securities Journal reported that three Chinese listed steel mills released earnings report and all forecasted a better performance in the third quarter despite the gloomy second one.
Angang Steel Co Ltd incurred loss of CNY 1.563 billion in the H1 as compared to the profit of CNY 8 million by the end of Q1. However, the wide steel price rise in July made the steelmaker to speculate a CNY 0 to CNY 4.126 billion profit in the first three quarters. That means profit in the Q3 alone should reach CNY 1.563 billion to CNY 5.689 billion. Earnings per share in the first three quarters are expected to be CNY 0 to CNY 0.57 off 50% to 100% ...
