MANILA, Aug 20 Asia Pulse - Highlights of today's newspapers:
- Expatriates in Hong Kong are the wealthiest in Asia with more than one in four earning over 250,000 US dollars a year, according to a survey published Thursday.
- Maintaining its strong financial position, Development Bank of the Philippines increased its net earnings to P2.47 billion in the first seven months of this year from P1.88 billion in the same period last year.
- Benpres Holdings Corporation has raised some P2.16 billion from the sale of its stake in Rockwell Land Corporation and Digitel as part of its ongoing program to reduce debt by selling non-core assets.
