HIGH POINT -- Because of the interest in this year's slate of candidates, the American Furniture Hall of Fame Foundation says it is extending the voting deadline by nine days, to Aug. 24.
"We have had a recent influx of new members who want to be sure they receive all rights of membership including voting in this year's election of members to the Hall of Fame. With an extension of voting to Aug. 24, there is still time for new members to have the opportunity to join and cast their ballots," said Don Belgrad, Hall of Fame Foundation president.
