Home decor megastore Garden Ridge will roll out more stores this year as part of its plan to expand eastward.

Garden Ridge, which already operates 22 units, will add five stores beginning in June in: Stockbridge, Ga. O'Fallon, Ill.; Lexington, Miss.; Nashville, Tenn.; and Fort Worth, Texas. A store in Greensboro, Ky. will open in February 1999.

Future stores will be based on a new 100,000-square-foot prototype store opened in Lewisville, Texas last year. ...
