Partners and CareGroup Executive Brings Deep Expertise to Expanding Organization
BOSTON -- Louis Jay Woolf, a respected health-care leader with experience in both the Partners and CareGroup Healthcare Systems, has been appointed President of the Harvard Medical School-affiliated Hebrew SeniorLife. Woolf was most recently executive vice president and chief operating officer at Partners Healthcare System's North Shore Medical Center, the second largest community hospital system in Massachusetts.
Len Fishman, CEO of Hebrew SeniorLife, announced the appointment. Woolf will assume the post effective Oct. 15, 2009.
