Back in late April of this year, John Bergland Jr., founder and president of Bergland Wealth Management Inc. in Ridgeland, noted the market rally that had been seen the previous 30 days. He saw that perhaps that rally was an indication of where the stock market was headed--up.
Some three moths later, the stock market has, indeed, trended upward. Not surprisingly, Bergland is bullish on the future. "But, I'm always bullish," Bergland said with a laugh. He added, "I'm bullish because I know and have witnessed how markets operate. The decline in the market offered a great opportunity to invest, and those equities, generally, have done quite well."
